Customer intelligence for founders

Know who to contact—and why.

Glyph combines product events, survey answers, and notes to uncover recurring pain points, find the right customers to contact, and help you write personal outreach grounded in what each person did and said.

Free for up to 100 customer profiles. No card required.

A focused Glyph pain point view showing the summary, customer quotes, supporting usage, and people worth asking next.

Features

The expanded evidence for a recurring pain point, showing five customers and their verbatim feedback.

Pain points

Trace pain points to customers

Open a recurring pain point to see who raised it and exactly what they said.

A customer's signal: the behavior summary with severity and confidence, plus the note and survey response used as evidence.

Customer signals

Understand the customer before you reach out

A customer’s signal brings together recent activity, notes, and survey answers, with severity and confidence. The events and quotes behind it stay visible, so you know what context should shape the conversation.

The quiet customer research table, organized by how long customers have been quiet, whether outreach is recorded, and whether new evidence is available.

Quiet customers

Spot customers who have gone quiet

See whose activity has dropped off, what changed around the time they went quiet, and decide who’s worth a follow-up.

A drafted outreach email for a customer who raised a pain point, with subject and email fields ready for the founder to review, edit, and send.

Outreach

Turn customer context into personal outreach

Choose a customer behind a pain point. On Growth, Glyph uses what they did and said to draft a relevant email. Review, edit, then click Send.

Send product events

Send profiles and events with a workspace write key. Events join each customer’s timeline.

The Orbit customer survey on a phone: the workspace logo above the satisfaction and recommendation scale questions and a free-text prompt asking what to improve.

Send a built-in survey

Collect CSAT, NPS, and written feedback. Each response attaches to the customer who answered.

The Notes tab on a customer record: a founder note describing what the customer reported about the home feed.

Add your notes

Put call and support notes beside each customer’s activity and survey responses.

The chart is not the customer.

Product analytics tells you what happened. Glyph shows you who it happened to, what they said, and the context you need to start a useful conversation. Keep your analytics stack. Add Glyph when the next step is talking to a customer.

Common questions.

What Glyph does and does not do.

Do I still need Mixpanel or PostHog if I use Glyph?

Yes — keep them. They measure behavior at scale, with funnels, session replay, and experiments that Glyph doesn’t try to replace. Glyph works one customer at a time: it ties events, feedback, and notes to the people behind a trend, so you know who to contact and what context should shape the conversation. Most founders run both.

Where do the pain points and sentiment come from?

Pain points start with written survey feedback and notes, with customers and supporting quotes attached. Glyph checks their product behavior for supporting or contradictory evidence. CSAT and NPS come directly from survey responses.

What happens when I open a pain point?

See the customers and supporting quotes behind it, then choose who is worth contacting. On Growth, Glyph can use that context to draft a personal email. Review, edit, then click Send. Nothing sends automatically.

Does Glyph score or grade customers?

No. Glyph has no health scores or grades. It shows sentiment, pain points, and the people behind them. You decide what they mean.

Is Glyph useful with only a few customers?

Yes. Customer records become useful with the first event, survey response, or note. Sentiment and recurring pain points need more feedback; Glyph flags thin evidence.

What should I know before sending customer data?

You choose which profiles, events, survey responses, and notes to send. Contact us about retention, model processing, or security before sending sensitive data.

Understand the pattern. Talk to the person.
